TRS Patch Lead. REAN by NEUTRIK Stereo or Balanced Cable. Jack to Jack Patch Cord

Quality handmade balanced TRS or 1/4" Stereo leads made with a flexible and tough PVC/Neoprene composite cable. These leads are commonly used to connect balanced equipment such as mixing desks, interfaces, active monitors and effects or they can be used to connect stereo signals on devices such as headphone amplifiers. The wiring of these cables is correct for either balanced or stereo.

The cable offers excellent screening from unwanted noise (EMI) and low microphonics due to cotton fillers. Crackle can be heard through low quality cables when they are flexed. This is caused by loose floating wires that rub against each other. Quality cotton fillers stop this from happening.

The connectors are REAN by Neutrik. Neutrik are the Worldwide #1 in pro-audio connectivity. They now offer a budget line of connectors that they are proud to put their name on. They are a standard all metal plug that is gold plated.

On cables 3m or longer we use a 10cm length of ‘Copper Cables’ branded Heatshrink on both sides. On shorter cables we use 1.5cm of Heatshrink. This is positioned underneath the plug housing coming down the cable and serves as a strain relief to improve the lifespan of the cable.
