Neutriks gold plated right angle Silent ¼ inch jack connector, ideal for applications where space is at a premium This awesome innovation from Neutrik is based on REED technology and eliminates pops and squeals when changing live equipment.  The connector is an X series and its integrated switch automatically mutes (shorts) the connection at the initial point of removal and is assured for a lifetime of over 10,000 mating cycles. It comprises of a solid die cast shell, Neutriks chuck type strain relief and a precise one piece machined tip.  This connector will deliver a rounded and warm tone. 2 Pole relates to the amount of carrier signals inside the cable/connector assembly, in this case two. The first carrier signal is the information signal and the second is the ground. This can be used to create an unbalanced or mono cable, making it ideal for use with guitars and instruments. It can still be used in balanced sockets but the benefits of balanced audio will not be achieved
