The Mogami 2497 is a Hi-Fi Interconnection Audio Cable constructed with a patented 'Double Cylindrical' structure. Like the smaller 2803, the 2497 is a high resolution cable with rich detail for the most demanding hi-fi applications. The 2497 has a larger cable structure that makes it easier to use than 2803 and so is preferred in some applications.

This is a High-Definition unbalanced HiFi interconnect cable, widely regarded within the audiophile world. High levels of detail are achieved with low capacitance values and a precise 75ohm characteristic impedance. This cable is also suitable for digital connections. Due to its size (8mm overall diameter) care should be taken when selecting Phono connectors to ensure they allow for this large diameter.
