Van Damme 5 Pin Tourgrade DMX Lighting XLR Lead. Flexible

Van Damme Digi-Tour-Grade AES/EBU microphone and DMX cable is a black jacketed version of the Van Damme Green Series 6.20mm OD AES microphone cable 268-402-050. Low capacitance and stable characteristic impedance ensure that signals remain error and jitter free over long distances. Also suitable for balanced analogue audio use.

This cable has the same feel as the Tour-Grade microphone cable. Due to the flexible construction the Impedance of these cables varies by (+/-) 20%. We recommend this cable for patch leads and short runs of up 25m. If you require long runs then please see the 'Smart Control' range of cables that can safely faithfully transfer AES and DMX signals up to 300m.

Terminated with industry standard 5 Pin XLRs from Neutrik. These only have Pins 1/2/3 wired, which is the typical pin-out for DMX cables. Pins 4/5 were initially implemented in DMX for a check back channel, but the technology was never deployed. They also help to differentiate from regular audio XLR cables.
