The mini jack has a flanged collar, this allows you to plug directly into a smart phone or tablet without removing the case
The Belden 1804a is a miniature Starquad cable with a low overall impedance of 40ohm. It has 28AWG stranded highly-conductive silver plated copper conductors, these are surrounded by a polypropylene insulation. The shield is braided tinned copper with 80% coverage.
This cable has a very upfront sound with definition across the frequency spectrum. Overall a very serious quality cable made from some of the best components available.
